In addition to singing and songwriting she plays the guitar and acts. She was recently rated by Forbes as the 69th most powerful celebrity. And she has all of this going for her at the young age of twenty. And in fact it can be argued that she was born to be a star, or at least an artist on both paper and the stage. It was the enormous talent that came along with her artistic orientation that put her at the center of the nation as well as much of the world’s attention.

For the typical fan or onlooker, it might be obvious that Taylor Swiftranks higher than most though it might also seem like she has easily reached this status and that fame and success come naturally to her. While this can be true to some extent for performers, as Swift’s natural grace and composure may make some situations less chaotic or tense, there is absolutely no denying the amount of work, effort and determination that is an essential aspect of anyone’s success, particularly one who is seeking a career in one of the arts.

It would be silly to try and argue the importance of the amount of work she has put toward her music and career versus the natural born gift she possesses. One thing is clear, and that is Taylor Swift is an enormously talented and successful young adult. There is no way to deny this regardless of whether or not one believes that talent or hard work is primarily responsible for getting her where she is. The point is that she is there. It is much more interesting to listen to her music and consider what she might do with the next twenty years of her life. And with her degree of skill, success and seeming ambition, one can only wonder what all is in store for Taylor Swift as well as her fans.
