The Importance of Good Customer Service

with one comment

Everyday we acquire new customer service experiences; some are good and some are bad. Every store that we go into or service that we elicit leaves us with a positive or negative experience which, as for customers, will greatly effect whether or not they come back. For this reason, business owners need to carefully consider their customer service policies and the effect it will have on their business.

Some business put a strong emphasis on maintaining good customer service; even going so far as to have their employees participate in customer service training and team building programs . When customers and clients have a good experience, it makes them feel valued and, in turn, encourages them to return and continue doing business with that establishment.

There are some larger companies that don’t place customer service as a high priority. They assume that they have a large enough customer base that a few disgruntled customers won’t make a difference. However, over time, if a company gets a reputation for poor customer service it can have lasting effects. If customers don’t feel that their needs are being met or their business appreciated, they will quickly find a place that does.

Without customers, businesses would cease to exist. Providing good customer service is a way to thank your customers for keeping doors open and your business running.

Museum on the Seam in Jerusalem

without comments

Jerusalem’s ancient and turbulent history creates an intense fusion of cultures like no other place in the world. It might not be surprising, then, that in a country so filled with top hotels and great museums, that one museum might devote itself exclusively to the ideas of tolerance, to the goals of understanding each other, and to living in peaceful co-existence.

Museum on the Seam is such a place, a socio-political contemporary art museum which exhibits modern art that addresses specifically the issues of war and conflict resolution. Even the location of this museum works as a kind of metaphor for its objectives: Museum on the Seam lies on Highway One, which was built over the line that separated Israeli Jerusalem from Jordanian Jerusalem between the years 1948 and 1967.

Artists from Israel and across the world respond with their work to the tensions between and inside groups, asking visitors to examine the influence of the social environment on each individual, and the influence of the individual on the social environment.

The museum was established at the turn of the century, in 1999, and, over the years, has held exhibitions that reflect concerns with human rights, that deals with work and slavery, examining life in a world of globalization and migration. Currently, the museum is exhibiting “HomeLessHome,” to consider the relationship between the private home and the state.

In a land filled with antiquities and diverse spiritual beliefs, the museum is an experience that will leave you thinking long after you’ve returned to your room in any number of Jerusalem hotels .

Great Job For Young College Students

without comments

Being in college can mean having a hard time finding a job and a place to stay. You need a place that is near the college, and if you don’t have a car you will also need a job that is nearby. The unfortunate thing is that all the jobs that are nearby are also being hunted down by the other hundreds or thousands of students who are also going to that college. There are a few kind of cool jobs you can get as a student though. Here is one that was recently found and suggested to be put out there.

Sometimes property management companies need a superintendant or something, if you are up in Canada, try Transglobe. Property management services jobs can be hard, but they also can be rewarding. Superintendent positions are usually live-in positions, so it takes care of the place to stay and getting some money out of it as well. You do have to be good with money and be a good team player, though. Of course, if you aren’t in Canada, there are other companies to check out besides.

What is a great job you’ve found for college students?

Go Tropical in Miami

without comments

There’s a great athletic park in Miami: Tropical Park , located at 7900 Southwest 40th Street, and within walking distance of the best Japanese restaurant in Miami: Sushi Ko Japanese Restaurant. Tropical Park is laid out with a road down the middle, which works very well to connect you to everything while giving the park the feel of a neighborhood.

At one end, you’ll find a lake and a small pond. In the middle, you’ll find all the picnic areas and children’s jungle gyms. Close to the main entrance, you’ll find the baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, racquetball courts, volleyball courts, a football field, a soccer field and a few more picnic areas. At the left of the main entrance is the Equestrian Center, which is amazing since this park is not huge, but the way it’s laid out keeps most people concentrated in specific areas, which make the park seem larger than it is.

Whether you are here on a visit, staying at any 4 star hotels Miami offers, or a resident, Tropical Park is a great place to get a great workout, stay in shape or just take a nice relaxing stroll alongside a healthy population of ducks, birds and squirrels that hang around the freshwater lake. You could even fish or take a paddle boat out for a spin around the park. Tropical offers it all; you’ll not want for more.

Adult Halloween Costumes and Masquerade Parties

without comments

Last Halloween , were you the one at the party wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt with two circles blacked in with a permanent marker and the word “Boo!” written underneath it? It might have seemed like a good idea at the time — after all, it took a minimum of fuss and effort, but instead of coming off as a cool and ironic ghost, it might be closer to the truth to say that it simply appeared as if you had forgotten to plan ahead.

Perhaps you feel as if procrastination is your problem; if so, you may want to peer ahead into the future by going on-line and finding the right adult Halloween costumes now. You might feel that Halloween is for kids and so you resist the opportunity to dress up as someone other than yourself; the tradition of dressing up has existed for centuries, however, and crosses over many cultures.

Masquerade parties became popular in the 1700s, and, as these “fancy dress” parties evolved, people found themselves wearing costumes of the characters of the stories and poems of the time. Many such costumes were based on historical figures or from famous plays and novels, such as Oliver Twist and Romeo and Juliet.

Certainly that tradition persists to this day, as you watch children parade the streets as their favorite television character. Often adult costumes draw from various roles people have taken in society, such as a 70s Dance Fever costume or a Bohemian Go-Go Girl costume. This year, you’ll want to be ready for the parties, no matter what your choice, as long as it doesn’t involve black ink from a permanent marker.

without comments

Coral Springs, Florida is one of the state’s most beautiful cities, and that is a literal descriptive statement. The city was specifically planned to conform to aesthetic standards and it has various regulations that restict the height that buildings can reach and it is also the first city to incorporate a McDonald’s that did not include the distinctive golden arches. It has been recognized as one of Florida’s most liveable cities and it has an extremely low crime rate. It is located about 20 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale, which makes that beach community extremely accessible and attractive to residents as well as the tourists who are enjoying a getaway in one of the hotels Coral Springs .

The community of Coral Springs is extremely friendly and the city has a very welcoming atmosphere. There are various festivals that occur throughout the year and most of the city turns out for. The Our Town Festival is one of the most popular and has occurred annually since 1979. It is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. Among the city’s main claims to fame is the fact that it took over the Guinness Book of World Records status of having the largest hamburger and milkshake. This fateful event occurred during the city’s 15th anniversary celebration and the hamburger measured 26 feet and was an impressive 5,063 pounds. That puts a new sense of fear into the phrase you are what you eat. Meanwhile, as impressive as the record was, it only lasted for a little over a year before it was broken by an even larger monster burger.

Much of the city’s features and activities contribute do a small town feeling. This is also represented by the friendly and inviting atmosphere of the city. In addition, the town’s museum is located in a building that used to be the real estate office and one of its main landmarks is the Covered Bridge, which was the first official structure of this new city. It was built in 1964 and remains the only covered bridge in the state that is based on the public right of way structure.
