There are many choices for hot tubs, in style and size and design, and when you start looking you’ll see that you have options that will certainly fit perfectly with your wants and your tastes. Many people these days are opting for the smaller sizes, because they are easier to maintain, and they make a kind of personal statement. The moments of relaxation, where you can let yourself go and really enjoy the moment for its own sake, are reserved for you and the ones you love the most. Two person hot tubs are a sensational alternative to larger spas, because they afford the same pleasure, and take up much less room. They’re often small enough that they can be installed indoors, so you can have all the privacy you want, and don’t have to bother with the elements.
There are different sizes to choose from in the smaller styles, too. Two, three, and four person hot tubs all come with a spectacular array of options to make for the experience that you really want. Variable jets make for uniquely designed water massage experiences that are sure to help ease aching muscles, and help the stresses of the day to melt away. The smaller sizes also speak to a more intimate social aspect of hot tub living. They’re built for deep conversations, the ones that can last into the night, either among friends or with the special someone in your life.
Relaxing together is a great way to be closer to the people you care about. It says that you’re able to let yourself really go, and come back to your senses in good company. There’s no question that relationships are an extremely important part of living in the world and being healthy. A hot tub can allow for more moments of calmness and intimacy with the people you really care about. Of course, they’re not an answer to a life gone out of balance, but they are a splendid tool toward bringing things back into perspective, and open up more possibilities for joy.

This January we are heading into Harrisburg for the Pennsylvania Farm Show. We just bought us this property about two hours from Harrisburg. There is 15 acres along a deep creek in a small valley in the southern Allegheny mountains. The land is very fertile and has plenty of water that is why we bought it. Our plan is to build an organic farming business on the site.
We bought the farm with a small rustic house heated by a wood burning stove. needing plenty of love and attention. There is a good sized barn that is actually in very good shape, a chicken coupe filled with chickens and a grove of apple, pear and walnut trees and a bramble of raspberries and black berries. Over the summer we moved in and began by cutting down and cutting back any of the over growth. The fields were six feet tall with grasses and weeds, the trees hung to the ground and all the bushes were scraggly and out of control. While cutting back we were also putting up fences and repairing them through out the summer. I think we are now are ready to get some goats, hogs, a cow and other animals now we have secured places for them. We will wait till spring before getting any animals.
Today we were getting some of the fields we will be planting next spring turned over in preparation for planting. The old man we bought the farm from had not worked the farm in about a decade so there is a lot to do to get it up and running again. In the spring we will be planting corn, bean, broccoli and lettuce that will be enough to start with. Tomorrow I will be pruning the pear and apple trees before the winter sets in and hopefully we will get good crops from them next year.
But now I need to get our rooms book at hotels Harrisburg so we have a place to stay for the Pennsylvania Farm Show.

Seattle’s reputation as one of the coolest cultural places in the country is very well-founded, and even after the rave of grunge and the rise of experimental theatre in the 90s has settled, it doesn’t show any signs of stopping in the great Northwest. Seattle is a beautiful town, and probably one of the highest quality of life places on the planet. The city has a strong civic sense, giving it a magnificent feel all throughout the year, even in the middle of the rainy season. It’s always rainy season in Seattle, though, that’s true, but when the city is as splendid as this, it doesn’t seem to matter much. It’s a place where people know how to enjoy the good life, and as such, a perfect place to spend a vacation at one of the Seattle luxury hotels.
These luxury accommodations are set in some of Seattle most interesting and bustling areas, where you’re close to the action in the city, which is very lively most any time of the day or night. There is a spectacular hospitality in the NW that is very different from anywhere else in the country. It might have something to do with the rain, or it might just come from living in a city where its immensely livable, but there’s an unusual warmth here that’s hard to match. It’s very evident in places like the Elliott Bay Book Company, one of Seattle’s true landmarks.
The store opened over three decades ago, and is one of the oldest independent bookstores in the country. Walter Carr started it as a used book store, and over the years it’s turned into a gigantic three-story powerhouse in the literary world, complete with its own cafe in the basement. The cafe was the inspiration for the one featured in the television show Frasier, although the real one looks quite a bit different. There is a unique energy here that speaks of the heart of the city. The employees are very knowledgeable about the books they sell, and very passionate about the authors who come in to do readings in the evenings. Some of the hottest literary talents in the world have been here, including local Tom Robbins, Salman Rushdie, Ben Okri, Isabel Allende, and Anne Rice. It’s a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon.

When it comes to total relaxation in style, there’s nothing like a hot tub to put you into the lap of luxury. It’s a very quick transition, where you can be in your driveway, still thinking about the thousand things left undone at work, and minutes later have your work clothes peeled off and enjoying the splendid sensation of hot water and massaging jets. Relaxation is something that people are often suspicious of these days, where the competitive workaday world tells us to keep working harder. When you have a portable spa, you have a reminder that it’s time to slow down once in awhile.
It’s not only a reminder, it’s a very practical tool. Your body develops a memory of sensations, and after a little time, it will start to have reflexes for your hot tub, and relax much quicker. Even the muscles have a memory, and they respond to repeated stimuli in repeatable patterns. The mind sometimes tries to get in the way of the muscles, and it might feel like your back is not releasing its knots as fast one day compared to another, but if you can get out of your own way, it will do that magic. This is one of the great benefits of having your own portable spa, you can learn how to mentally relax and unwind along with your body.
There has been a long debate in philosophical circles about the connection between the mind and the body, and it’s one of the central points of contention in Western thought. Descartes was the one who made the famous dictum, Cogito ergo sum, which translates roughly to I think therefore I am. This poses the idea that the mind is what determines our being, but there is a lot of contention about this idea. In circles of philosophy, the arguments are quite complex, but in other circles, especially when it comes to holistic medicine in non-western cultures, there is the suggestion that the body and the mind are not separate, but absolutely influence each other. There is some discussion too about this notion that the body can influence the mind. The body might know how to relax more quickly, and in the case of hot tubs, if the body relaxes, the mind often follows.

Bangalore has been named as one of India’s most beautiful cities. Located just over three thousand feet above sea level on Deccan Plateau, this city is most likely so beautiful and green due to this fact, and the climate is one of the most enjoyable of the entire country. Bangalore, the name derived from ‘bendha kaalu’, means boiled beans. One of the legends of how the city was named, is now just a very beautiful story as the times and the dates do not match up.
The story is that the king of Vijayanagara Kingdom, Veera Ballala, was wondering lost through the forest. He came about a cottage tired and hungry. The old woman living in the cottage offered him what she had, which was just a bowl of boiled beans. King Ballala was alive during the 9th Century, and history has shown reference to this name previous to this time, so although it is not a legitimate source for reference, the story emanates all that is wonderful, beautiful and kind about Bangalore today. The city is filled with public gardens, one of the first designed and strategically planned out was created in 1759 by the Wodeyars in 1759. This is now a world famous public garden, Lal Bagh. This was the same year in which Bangalore became a town with a fortified fort, used to house the army. Today, five star hotels in Bangalore offer tours of the city, either walking tours which are extremely popular, or tours in buses and trolleys.
Many first time visitors are so taken with this city that they move to Bangalore permanently shortly following those visits. Bangalore is now the fifth largest city in the country, and one of the fastest growing in all of Asia. Industry is booming, while keeping in touch with the old world charm and the culture of the region. This is truly one of the gems of the country of India, but be prepared…one may find the need to move their once one experiences the atmosphere and the people.

Mumbai is one of the world’s great cities, with an enormously diverse and always interesting population making up its cultural landscape. It’s one of the longest continually inhabited places on the planet, giving it an extremely rich and dense history. Any visit to India is illuminating and fascinating, but seeing it from one of its 5 star Mumbai hotels offers a view of the amazing place from the lap of luxury. Waking up to the splendor of our spacious and magnificently decorated rooms offers a sense of rejuvenation that is almost impossible to describe. The meals are prepared by world-class chefs, offering local and international cuisine with enormous flair and style. It’s the perfect way to begin a day before enjoying all there is to see in the city.
Like most big cities, there is simply too much to see and do in one day, or even in one visit. Once the need to do it all is forgotten, there is time to enjoy every moment, and moments in Mumbai are filled with infinite possibilities. It’s always a good idea to set aside a day or two to do nothing but people-watch. The whole human drama plays itself out in front of you, and can give you a sense of the mysteries of the place. You can also get a splendid sense of this by looking at the local art. One of the more eye-catching sculptors, who works in many different kinds of media, is a young artist named Riyas Komu.
Born in Kerala in 1971, he splits his time between here and there. His bachelor’s and master’s degrees are from Mumbai’s School of Art, and his splendid work is all over Mumbai, and other parts of India, as well as having been shown in Austria, the U.K., New York, and Italy. The work travels well, rich in metaphor and absolutely spectacular in design. Riyas Komu’s wood sculptures are terribly evocative, and also a bit disturbing, with large forms on wheels that beckon the viewer to examine the details, which reveal hidden stories and hidden truths. His paintings have similar effects, with visually stunning appeal that seem to excavate deeper truths in the heart of the artist as well as the viewer.

Sydney has something for everyone. It’s a spectacular place, with a buzzing urban scene where creativity seems to burst out of every doorstep, and the cafes and pubs are filled with fascinating people from all over the world. The local culture here is also very strong, with an indigenous population that has been here for thousands of years, and locals of European descent who are friendly and hospitable, and maintain a sense of rugged individualism that is at times a trademark and at times a subtle joke. It’s a great place to enjoy nature, and to meet people. When you’re getting your travel preparations together and start to consider your hotel, Sydney, Australia has an enormous variety of offerings.
Our hotels are carefully selected to give you the best in comfort and style. There’s a distinctly metropolitan feel to the city, and our hotels reflect classical and contemporary design to offer you a splendid place to rest your head. When you start to venture out to see what the city offers, you’ll find that the days fill up very quickly. You can spend a lot of lovely afternoons hanging out in cafes and pubs, soaking up the atmosphere and people watching. You can see a new show, watch some local street performance, and check out some of the young galleries in town. There is a fantastic art scene in Sydney, and even places as established as the Art Gallery of New South Wales have a reputation for presenting evocative and provocative work.
One of the reasons that this gallery, which has been here for 150 years, has such a good reputation among the locals and the local artists, is the strength of its curatorial staff. Curator Wayne Tunnicliffe has been exceptionally instrumental in bringing in the work of new young artists, with an impeccable eye, and a sensibility that is broad and still very astute. This is no small fete in a world that’s saturated with new experiments, and he seems to have his fingers on a pulse somewhere that recognizes both boldness and technique.

Halloween is one of the best of holidays. Creativity and spookiness go hand in hand, and while there is a similarity in the way that people celebrate, I find that it is a wonderful experience to take in the ways in which those in other cities in the United States celebrate. As of yet, I have not been in a foreign country for this particular night, but I have been in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Bozeman on this, the scariest of evenings.
When a friend of mine suggested going to Sarasota to visit her sister, and the trip fell on the Holiday weekend last year, I was ready for the adventure. Her sister’s house is very small, so we booked a couple of rooms in one of the West Florida hotels, right on the beach of course and with cameras in hand, we headed out for the evening. The festivities that take place are encapsulated in the title, “Fright Night”.
The usually sophisticated and upscale neighborhood in Sarasota, St. Armands Circle, becomes a Halloween extravaganza of silliness, ghoulishness, and all out fun. This has become over the years, one of the largest of Sarasota’s festivals, and draws not only the locals, but those from near by cities surrounding. Everyone gets in on the holiday spirit as all of the shops, the restaurants, and the bars that line the street are decorated.
One of the outdoor sculpture exhibits threw me off a bit. There was a sculpture garden where the figurative pieces were dressed in costumes. I stepped in close to get a photo of one of the statues, and just as I was about to click the button, the sculpture moved. Scared me so quickly and so thoroughly that it took me a few minutes to catch my breath. Afterwards I noticed that there were many live sculptures in that garden. This was one of my favorite Halloweens, the frightening night in Sarasota, Florida.

Hot tubs can be considered as an investment, which is actually what they are commonly oriented to be in today’s market. While in the past they were strongly categorized as major luxury items that only the select rich and lucky could have, today they are often associated with home improvement and property value increases. This does not mitigate or remove the great enjoyment and also the luxury value of them, it simply serves to demonstrate that when considering the purchase of a backyard hot tub, there is more to it than looking at the immediate cost.
Choosehottubsdirect.com is an excellent resource for various questions on hot tub purchases and the effects on home value, as well as a major supplier of hot tubs and accessories. Frequently, hot tubs are incorporated into the overall design of a backyard. There are more accessories and associated entertainment elements that are available as upgrades or separate purchases, that makes the possibility of an entire backyard theme park possible and affordable. In addition, they are frequently included in the planning and construction of a deck.
Some of the features that many people love to be included with their hot tubs are lighting elements as well as stereo and even dvds and televisions. The lighting design of many hot tub models has become extremely dynamic and can provide for an incredible visual experience that greatly enhances the atmosphere of a hot tub party. In addition, stereos are extremely common and music always creates a particular mood. Combined with the effects of the lightening systems, this can be an incredibly relaxing experience, or the beginnings of a high-energy party. Whatever the overall design of the backyard and intended major use of the hot tub is going to be, adding it to the household features will also add value to the home and property.
